One thing we all know about Michael Kane by now is that he does things for the sake of being able to say ‘Yeah, I’ve been there and done all of that.” He’s got sites ranking sky high in almost every niche online going up against tycoons, from imageshack.us to some of the biggest warez forums online, they know all too well what it’s like to go head to head with MK, sure he’s a nice guy but when it comes to business, he’ll throw everything he has at you if ranking the old fashined way is out of the question and usually it is. Now, after proving a point to a select few in the BlackHat SEO industry with SZ (which will be back in action very soon) he’s lashing out at the one industry he has yet to dominate.
With a couple sites ranking in the top 5k for traffic sites in alexa, generating over 40thousand uniques a day each; he’s not satisfied. The Music industry is a huge one, but is it too big a mountain for Michael Kane to climb? Odds are against him at this point as he launches his brand new Music Forum for real music lovers, Music Blog and soon to be launched Unsigned Music Artists Network. I have been trying to fill his shoes there for the last few days as he has been busy, but the second he is back, something tells me the Music Industry will have a new hot music forum/network dominating everything music related.
A quick story about his new community Blasting Music that will sort of show you how bent over this MK is. He recently sold the domain name to a private domain bidder for a somewhat low $xx,xxx only to buy it back 2 weeks later an extra $4,500 to buy it from the previous seller. With all the music domains out there, and in his portfolio, I can’t help but wonder why this domain? At first I thought a publicity stunt? But it was a ‘private sale’ that was not mentioned. Whatever the reason, MK has selected a few to work on Blasting Music and they’re not light weights when it comes to major BlackHat SEO, some are well known hackers at that, not to mention a couple of the most connected individuals in the marketing industry are rumored to have been contacted by Michael about BlastingMusic.com
Pulling strings this early in the game? It’s going to be fun to watch. Even though it’s still not public, I can’t wait for Blasting Music to launch out of Private Beta phase and speed up the ranks in 6th gear!
